ACA CICRA Biological Research Station: Tracking Jaguars With the Experts

The Los Amigos Biological Research Station in Peru offers lucky guests the opportunity to track jaguars and other exotic animals right alongside scientists working at the station.

The Los Amigos station sits on 160,000 hectares of land surrounded by even larger preserves that attract some of the rarest animals or Peru. The researchers are also working to protect the area by bringing the local community to Los Amigos – helping locals and new migrants to the area understand the importance of rainforest conservation. Bird watchers, insect enthusiasts, and nature lovers will all find paradise here amongst the density of living creatures.
