Business Development Associate
Position Overview
GLP is seeking a qualified business development associate with 3 to 5 years of experience in the travel, outdoor, conservation and/or sustainability industries. This exciting new position will support GLP’s sales team with outreach, lead generation and marketing to key markets and audiences, consistent with the company’s long-term business development and sales goals and strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Outreach and Lead Generation: Proactively and enthusiastically engage with new business prospects consistent with GLP’s new business, sales and outreach strategies. This outreach process (via email, phone, social, WhatsApp, etc.) will aim to set up and help manage relationships with key tourism and sustainability industry brands to learn about GLP’s award-winning content marketing services.
Staff Collaboration: The associate will liaise across GLP’s sales, marketing, and communication teams to ensure ongoing business development, partnership, sales, and outreach efforts are consistent with organizational priorities and complement such efforts of other GLP team members.
Requirements
At least 3 to 5 years of direct business development and/or sales experience
Proven experience and passion for the travel, outdoor, conservation and/or sustainability industries
Proven ability to help foster new business development and sales opportunities
Strong social media presence and network on LinkedIn
Strategic thinking and solutions-oriented individual
Knowledge, interest, and experience with travel, outdoor recreation and sustainability issues

Public Relations Specialist
Position Overview
GLP is seeking a dynamic, creative, and highly skilled Public Relations Specialist to amplify the company’s voice and reputation across the tourism, outdoor recreation, conservation and sustainability industries. This exciting new position will be responsible for crafting and executing strategic PR campaigns, managing media relations, and creating compelling content that aligns with GLP’s mission, values and campaign needs.
This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, a knack for storytelling, and a passion for sustainability, travel, outdoors and/or conservation. The ideal candidate will have experience in public relations, media outreach, and content creation, with a proven track record of building brand awareness and engagement.
Responsibilities
Media Relations
Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and media outlets in the sustainability, tourism, conservation and/or marketing sectors.
Proactively pitch stories, press releases, and other media opportunities to relevant publications.
Monitor and report on media coverage, providing insights and recommendations for future campaigns.
Content Creation
Help write and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create blog posts, social media content, and other materials that enhance brand visibility.
Ensure all content aligns with GLP’s mission, values, and voice.
Strategic PR Campaigns
Plan and execute PR campaigns that drive awareness and engagement for GLP’s initiatives and client campaigns.
Identify and capitalize on opportunities for thought leadership, including speaking engagements, awards, and partnerships.
Measure the success of campaigns using analytics and provide actionable insights for improvement.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in public relations
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications or Marketing
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with media professionals.
Proficiency in media monitoring and all current PR tools.
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge, interest, and experience with travel, outdoor recreation and/or sustainability issues is preferred

Administrative Assistant
(for GLP’s Founder)
Position Overview
GLP is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized Administrative Assistant to work closely with the company’s Founder and leadership team. This exciting new position plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Founder’s daily activities and supporting key business functions across the entire organization. The Administrative Assistant will help manage schedules, communications, and administrative tasks, enabling the Founder to focus on longterm strategic priorities and growth opportunities.
This role requires someone with exceptional communication and organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, and a high level of discretion. An interest in sustainability, marketing, or the travel industry is a plus.
Responsibilities
Special Projects
Assist with market research, data collection, and analysis for new initiatives, projects or client campaigns.
Take ownership of new projects or initiatives to help support the Founder’s goals and company objectives.
Administrative Support
Help coordinate internal and external communications on behalf of the Founder.
Prepare meeting agendas, take detailed notes, and follow up on action items.
Handle important information with discretion and professionalism.
Potentially help manage the Founder’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
Communication & Liaison
Serve as the primary point of contact between the Founder and internal teams, clients, and external partners.
Facilitate clear and timely communication across all stakeholders.
Operational Support

Marketing Internship
GLP Films is accepting applications for internships with our Social Media & Marketing team on a rolling basis. Are you interested in getting hands-on experience with a leading content marketing agency in the travel and sustainability industry? We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and hard-working marketing intern to join our team. This will be a unique opportunity to learn more about the industry, hone your social media and creative skills, and communicate impactful messages on sustainability.
The ideal applicant will possess a working knowledge of the social media landscape and have a passion for sustainability storytelling. Strong characteristics of a successful candidate include the ability to multitask, create graphic and visual designs, quickly research and write compelling copy, adapt voice and messaging for multiple audiences, and dig up data to help us interpret and analyze the success of our communications. This role provides the candidate with the opportunity to work directly with our Marketing Team and assist in the success of marketing and communications of a global content marketing agency. This position is fully remote and has flexible hours (both in terms of when you work and how many hours)—we understand that school comes first!

What you'll learn how to do:
Execute social media growth tactics and assist with the distribution of content
Research and develop digestible, educational content for GLP’s trade audience for use on all platforms
Assist with optimizations to content and engagement strategy for all GLP social platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
Provide monthly social media and website analytics review and reports
Stay up to date with the latest environmental and sustainability news, particularly in relation to the travel industry
Assist with collaborator outreach and relationship development as needed
Perform additional research on sustainability initiatives for internal use as needed
Assist with various other marketing projects as needed
What we'd like from you:
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently via a virtual work environment
Excellent communication (email, phone, Skype), copywriting, and organization skills
Familiarity working with Google Docs and social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube, and Vimeo
Proficient knowledge of Canva and/or an understanding of graphic design and brand identity
Preferred knowledge, interest and/or experience with sustainability/environmental issues and/or travel industry
