Brand Development + Graphic Design + Travel + Sustainability.  

GLP Films (GLP) is looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and experienced brand identity specialist and graphic designer to join our dynamic team. This position provides an excellent opportunity for a candidate to connect their experience and passion for tourism with their experience in developing a coherent and visually compelling brand identity.  They will collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop the brand assets and create innovative designs that effectively communicate our tourism client's brand message. 

Their responsibilities will include driving the brand inquiry and discovery process,then conceptualizing and executing designs for a variety of marketing materials, such as brochures, presentations, digital assets, and infographics, while ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and target audience preferences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio showcasing their creativity, technical proficiency with design software, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. Experience in outdoor, adventure and sustainable tourism is preferred. 

This role provides the candidate with the opportunity to work directly with our Marketing Team and help to shape our client’s goals in developing a new and impactful brand identity as part of their journey to distinguish their destination in the outdoor and sustainable tourism industry.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the marketing team to develop discovery surveys and brand development tools 

  • Translate brand attributes into visual assets

  • Drive and maintain a development and production schedule

  • Create a brand guideline and standards to be shared with stakeholders

  • Develop and execute a full suite of brand assets: logo, tagline, sublogos or visual identity elements as needed. 

  • ​​Provide production support for implementing the visual identity elements for digital or print collateral, as well as potential trade show booths or displays.

Requirements

  • Brand development and graphic design experience

  • Excellent communication (email, phone, text) and organization skills

  • Agency experience (marketing, creative, public relations) is preferred. 

  • Knowledge, interest, and experience with sustainability and the travel industry

  • Must be highly self-motivated and able to work efficiently and independently via a virtual work environment
